Default Question about release?

Ok my friends husband has been waiting on a bed date since march. He went to his counsler and he was told his paper work was never submitted to the board stating he finished the programs the requried of him so he sent a letter to the sentencing judge and he sent a letter back stating he should be released soon as possible. So he sent my friend some mail saying the warden just got his paper work. So my question is how long should it take now for a bed date? any help will be really appericated.....

We can only wish for a crystal ball ...

Once the institution's Records Office receives notice from the courts and corrects the records, they forward the changes to the counselor, who then re-submits the packet to the Bureau of Community Corrections. Figure a week for the Records Office; the counselor is anyone's guess.

The BCC regional office processes the packet and decides if they'll accept him. (This is a little-known kink in the chain.) If they do, they develop a location and date and send it back to the counselor, who then tells the inmate.

How long will it take? He might have a bed date for September/October if everything goes smoothly from this point. I hope it's sooner.

Thank u it's just crazy because the he made parole back in october and they told him parole after he completes violence prevention so he finished in march and went to his counsler to submit the paper work and the counsler never sent it to who ever. so thats when he wrote the judge and now the wardern told him he will personally make sure his paper work is sent to where it should be. So its just crazy how they can do things like that but thanks for the reply....
