We finally got the case manager to get the packet prepared and submitted on 6/17 and I found out about an hour ago that Pennsylvania denied it... looks like we'll be spending another 3 years separated by 1800+ miles

Thanks Mari... I'm not sure the reason at this point. The lady in Colorado's compact office told me I'd have to call Pennsylvania to find out why.. that was at 6:05 my time

. The strangest part is... PA never contacted his sister or mom who were sponsoring him.

I hate hearing you got such bad news. Hopefully he will be able to reapply once he is out and has had the chance to establish a good rapport with his Colorado PO. Never give up hope and keep your faith. Being out will be his first step and things will get better with each week. We never know whats in store for us.

Reason for denial... He's non-program compliant. The members on here I'm closest with know what program and why

Joy you are both in our prayers. There's not much he can do except the program so that he can re-apply or just do the whole parole here. He won't even be eligible for early release because of that, just the earned time off of his sentence. I wish there were something more that I could do.
