Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

A friend of mine used to write to a young gentleman that was on DR. She quit writing him for a few years, and decided to send him a letter a few weeks ago, but she hasnt heard anything back from him. Lord forbid, the worst happened, would the prison send the mail back? Or just discard it?

Your friend can find information on the internet. Friend knows, I guess where he is, or locate him otherwise. Maybe call the facility for info. Mail would be returned to sender if it can't be delivered. Good luck!

You never know what prisons will do with mail! They should return it but things do get lost. The death penalty info center has lists of those that are executed. If he isn't on that list then she'll need to check the doc page for the prison he's in to be certain he hasn't been commuted or passed on by natural means. Good luck to her. I hope she hears from him soon.
