Hi, I'm from Europe and I'm having difficulty filling out the visitation form for a prison in SC. I tried calling the hotline and leaving my number so they could contact me, but of course no reply. I called twice so far.

The problem with the visitation form is that I cannot fill out some of the required fields (state, 5-digit zip zode, social security number etc.), because we don't have that in my country. Does this mean I will automatically get rejected, or will it just take longer for the DOC to process my application?

I really, really hope someone will be able to help me, because I'm running out of time :/

Another thing that I might as well squeeze in: If I purchase a number in SC via Skype, do I still have to connect that number to GTL or any other phone company? Or would a prepaid Skype number suffice?

I applied to visit my friend in Colorado and I just put my home address and ignored the Zip code, State thing. And I dont have a social security number so that didnt go in either. I was approved, it just took longer. It took them about a month to run all the checks on me because they had to do them internationally but it was fine in the end.

Cant help with the skype I'm afraid, sorry

You could also a passport number and just put a note in with the application.

I am not 100% sure about SC but as far as I know you always have to open up an account with the prison's phone provider - in your case GTL. I am not sure if they open accounts for people not in the US but I solved it with PCD. Just pm me if you need more help/info
