I have told the major ppl in my life (mother, father, granny, sisters, god-brother and some close friends)... For the most part im very open...

Have you told anyone and how long have yall been together?

No, I have not told anyone has of yet. His trial was a very big and public (news cast, ect) and Im not ready to deal with the judgement right now & we both agree that our relationship is still a "newborn". It would probably complicate everything. We've been together 4 months, but have known each other for a year.

I've told everyone. My man's case was very public and they even made a Lifetime movie about it. But that's been YEARS ago.

Everyone who knows me knows about him. But only my friends know that we are married. I don't think my family is ready for that quite yet.

Who knows...hmm, who doesn't know would be an easier question. All family, all friends, the mailman, the employees behind the counter in seventeen coffee shops.

My wife is my favorite subject - and I'm pretty antisocial, so if I have to talk to you it's going to be what I want to talk about, which means it's going to be my wife.

I have not told my family yet. I don't want to hear it from them. I have one friend that knows now besides my PTO friends. I am not ashamed of him just don't want to deal with it.

I met my MWI thru his dad. In Mark, I found my soulmate. We got married on 01/26/09. I told everyone who would listen. I tatooed his name on my right hand for everyone to see. Well...first time around, my mom, my stepdad, my brothers, and my friends knew.

We just got back together after a year break....and my mom kinda knows...lol; my brother knows...and only a few friends.

I just am not wanting to deal with all the naysayers right now...most were not supportive of my relationship with him in the past because we're MWI and he's incarcerated. And, right now, we (he and I) need to focus on this relationship first, and making it strong before battling outside forces.

My family would never understand and I don't have any real friends....I've told a couple Facebook friends that I've known several years & I trust, and told one of my friends at work and that's about it.....I'm a private person don't feel the need to blab my business all the time, I don't plan on telling my family about him doing time because I want them to get to know him for who he is not what he's done

Everyone who matters in my life. I think eventually you get to a point that you can't deny it because it's unfair to them. I ttook me about two years to come completely clean about it but believe me, it's so liberating. Now of course, I don't announce it in the workplace or to people who i am not close with because frankly, I wouldn't share much about myself with those people anyways.

I hate lying because it's a slippery slope and I have a bad memory. I can't remember when I tell lies and always end up ratting myself out anyways

I have to agree with you...it does give alot of motivation. :-) Does your ticker say 50 years? I can't tell if my eyes are just really bad and I need glasses or what my issue is....

I agree, it is very unfair to our significant others to hide our relationship. I surely cant wait until I can come completely clean and talk about him with others around me. Thanks for responding to this thread and poll = )

Only family that knows is my mother and brother. All my co-workers know. We're a close-knit bunch. Not only that, but I work in the same town he grew up in, so there are quite a few people at my job who either went to school with him or just knew him from the neighborhood.
