Oh God I knew this was coming! I'm so sorry to tell everyone that Sarge has a date set for January 11. My thoughts are with him and his loved ones. There is still a lot of fight left though and we won't be sitting idly by.

I'm thinking of Sarge and his friends and family at this difficult time. There is still hope of a stay and we will all try and stay positive. Here is an article about the scheduled execution.

He has one last chance with the SC:
Citing a new forensic opinion, lawyers for Foster, 47, have asked Supreme Court justices to block the execution. Foster has maintained his innocence in the slaying of Nyanuer "Mary" Pal, 28, blaming the crime on his roommate at the time, Sheldon Ward. Ward, 30, who also received a death sentence in the case, died in prison from a brain tumor last year.

Does anyone know what time this is happening? Sarge is one of my pals and i have been praying all day long for him. I hope for a miracle to happen.

"Forty-seven-year-old Cleve Foster's lethal injection was stopped by the U.S. Supreme Court so it can further review an appeal. In the court's brief order, Justices Antonin Scalia and Sam Alito indicated they would have allowed the punishment to proceed."

im listening to the Execution Watch radioshow and its CONFIRMED that Sarge got a stay and is now heading back to his cell at Polunsky. His sister Donna spoke and was so happy. The guys on the radio-show are trying to find it online but they havent, i cant either. BUT, there is a STAY and its been CONFIRMED. thats all i know, i am so frikkin happy right now that i cant breathe properly. GO SARGEEEEE!!!!!!!!
