This is a sad story and it is something that needs to be brought out because many innocent people are wrongly accused......I had a sister who was murdered and a man had gone to death row and then exonerated. It is a sad situation for both sides and not knowing what to believe. I no longer believe in capital punishment because lawyers just want someone to pay for the crime to proclaim their victory but many families are torn apart by it. I could never be a lawyer because personally I could not live with myself if I thought even the slightest that I had sent an innocent man to death. What my sister wanted most for me was to find God unfortunately it took me 17 years after she died and a death threat of my own but I'm sure she did a lot of praying in heaven for me.
No one else paid for the crime against her but I'm at peace with that because I now know God will make it all right in the end. My heart goes out to all the family in this situation.

Sugar Plum, what an absolute horrid and sad story. I am glad that you are at peace even though no one has been caught for killing your sister. Remember that resentments are like poison to our bodies. I have never had a criminal/violent act like this in my family and I am so sorry that your family has been touched my such evil. I pray that your lovely sister rests in peace and that you know that she is proud of the way your are handeling yourself.
