I think he's given up

so the last time i posted here i was upset about somethings my lifer had said in a letter and was debating what to do. i decided to write to him and tell him that he had hurt my feelings and i wasnt sure i could trust him. i was honest and upfront about it because i thought it was important he know. i didnt want him to think everything was ok when it clearly wasnt. anyhow, since i sent that letter i havent heard anything from him. its been over 3 weeks. im worried that he's given up on us for some reason. i've written him since but still havent heard anything. any one have any advice?

Maybe try again and tell him to at least write you a short note telling you he was ok, so that you don`t have to worry.

I would also call the mail room to find out if they are backed up. I know that sometimes where my husband is at it can take up to 28 days for them to get their mail.

Keep trying. Tell him that you need to know that he is ok and if he doesn't write you and tell you himself that you are going to call and have the Chaplin do a welfare check. That should get some movement. Most times the guys don't want that Chaplin to come visit. *S* Last time I had to do this I got a letter in 2 days and I was told that the Chaplin came down and told him to get of his fanny and write his wife! We've not had that problem since. Hehehe

I haven't read your post from before but I know ole man sent me a letter the beginning of last week and I've yet to receive it. He sent me a new picture and I'm chompin at the bit to get it. Stay positive sweetie he'll write once he gets done throwing his man tantrum.

there are way too many maybes! either way, hang in there, im sure you'll hear from him sooner rather than later. in the mean time ~ keep busy, do some of the smallest things which bring a smile to your face

thanks for all your comments. unfortunately i dont think its the mail being backed up, he's just choosing not to write. i know he might have not liked what i wrote in my letter but he hurt my feelings and i felt it was important to let him know. i didnt say anything hurtful or anything just told him specifically what he said tht hrt and tht i couldnt believe he would say things like tht. im bothered by his lack of writing especially with the holidays right arouund the corner. i have written him several times over the last month and havent heard anything. now ive just decded to give him some space
