Loving a convict is not child's play
In fact some might say it's too high a price to pay
It's having to stand alone, facing your fears
And laying in bed at night with eyes full of tears
It's being frustrated, not knowing whether to agree or fuss
It's hundreds of miles and a lot of razor wire separating us
But baby, it's not much longer you'll have to wait
And before you know it they'll be opening the gate
It's so unfair this pain I inflict
So I just want to thank you baby
For loving this convict

oh my wow that was beautiful .. u are a lucky lady .. thank u it brought a tear to my eye .. cause it shows that man do still love us when they are away ... my man cant write too well but he draws the best he can .. and set me lil pics he draw when he'd be thinking of me ... so i thank u
