I'm in the same boat, Sweetie! And I'm gonna tell you what someone on here told me when I said this very same thing. "Be patient and write him often." That's all I got.

Take care!

I remember that exact feeling when my man was in Imperial County Jail (he was there from Oct 13, 2010 to Dec 3, 2010 and 2 hours away from me) I couldn't wait for him to be transfered to prison. Once he was transfered to prison he landed in Donovan which was only 30 minutes from my house so I'd see him every weekend twice a weekend, but I was still completely bummed out because I couldn't hear his voice often. He was in Donovan on the reception yard from Dec 3, 2010 to January 31st, 2011. I got through it by staying positive, writing him daily, leaning on friends, and allowing myself to go through my emotional moodswings. Another tip is to STAY BUSY!! I would do the simplest things and put a ton of effort into it just so that my mind was focused elsewhere.

I feel for you and I wish you the best. Trust me you are strong and you will make it through this. Remember what doesn't "kill" you only makes you stronger and love in the end will ALWAYS win.

WOW I'm so sorry to hear that. He will be sad, but chances are he won't blame you. In fact, he may even blame himself... from experience.

When my man was out running amuck and causing trouble I got pregnant with "our first" (I've got a 2 yr old son from another relationship that my man has custody over) that I miscarried at 12 weeks pregnant. He was heartbroken and bawled like a baby, but never once put the blame on me. He said, "better luck next time." Sure enough it was better luck next time because a month and a half later I got pregnant again just before he went in and now I'm 27 weeks pregnant with our first little girl.

So, be prepared for when he gets home that he may want to try for another little miracle because he'll miss your angel baby.

Thanks Hueros wife, that's what kind of stresses me out, I know he has a really bad temper so I don't want him to be so hurt by the news that he does anything stupid, he has told me time and time again that looking forward to coming home to his and I baby is the only thing that keeps him focused

The booth has an opening below the glass that has holes covered by a grate. (If the booths are like the ones in AdSeg.)

Lovely ladies of PTO, have a quick question. I'm sending him a stationery package with paper, env and stamps. Could I include a little letter I wrote in there or it has to be strictly supplies??

Mail is slow there and if you havent sent him paper, stamps and envelopes, it is hard for him to get supplies. You can send 40 envelopes, 40 stamps and 20 sheets of lined paper in a manilla envelope (take off the little metal clasp). You can send as many of these stationary packages as you want but they cannot have more than what was stated above

Hello everyone, does anyone know the average wait time to be mainlined after they've seen a counselor? I wanna know if I'll be able to go visit at least once before they ship him out.

Also which one is the Lancaster prison?

I would send him either pre-stamped (embossed) envelopes or just regular envelopes and a book of stamps.
I think you COULD send the envelopes with the stamps already on them, but ........
He may be able to trade a few stamps for something else he needs. Like paper or a pen or what nots.
