Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

I was hoping for some information on how to address my husband receiving time credit. He was arrested in another county in Jan 2010 and this of course was a probation violation. They violated his probation soon after his arrest and served him while in the county he was arrested in, however did not have the hearing until Dec 2010. So, he was in county til Aug, then went to Fulton, where he still is. They took him from Fulton to the county for the probation violation hearing, but now that he is back at Fulton, just got his paperwork and it said his time started on the day he arrived at County for the hearing(it was a few days after his arrival that the hearing took place).
i have contacted our lawyer and asked that he speak to the circuit clerk for that county for an adjustment and time credit be given him. Is this what i needed to do or is there something else i should do as well? This is almost a year of time that he is done, so it is important that he get it.
Any help is appreciated.

I think the lawyer should be able to get something like that accomplished. Wishing you luck!
