Im so upset, my fence called and said he had a meeting with the parole and he said they were really downgrading him and making him feel messed up. i dont think they should be able to do that. i mean they should help feel better not treat them like shit. is there really anything i can do about this?

I kno it sucks to have someone treat them like that but the truth is that no one is in there for going to church, and while there are some innocent ones they are used to hearing the bs. Prisons are over crowded and and understaffed, it's not a happy place. I cant tell you how many times I wanted to kill some one for making my hubby feel like shyt in there, but all we can do is pick them up and dust them off! Not too many other people are worried about inmates getting thier feelings hurt. Just be there for him and reasure him that you believe in him, and dont let what they think about him affect who he is.

I agree.Mine had a very nice,fair PO,but i realize not all are.And you did only hear your man's side.I'm sure they've heard any and everything.Anyway,tell him just to concentrate on doing what's right no matter what anyone says.

Just be a positive influence on him. They hear alot of horrible things in there. So like Danielle said, pick him back up and brush him back off. Keep giving him positive encouragement. He will get through this!!!

Dont let it get to you. He knows who he is and dont let them get the best of you both. Continue to do good and that should be enough to prove them wrong.

It could also be a test to see if he's ready for life on the outside - they push his buttons and see if he responds in a non-aggressive way. Can he control his anger when someone rubs him the wrong way, you know?
