Default Hunger Strike

My thoughts are with three men on OH's row as they protest their treatment. They are refusing food--taking only water and coffe. The men are: Carlos Sanders, Keith Lamar, and Jason Robb. They want to have contact visits with their family among other things.

"A hunger strike by the three Lucasville riot leaders has ended with state prison officials conceding to nearly all of the strikers' demands."

The story is here.

I think it is wonderful that they get semi-contact visits at the very least now. In these cases for those on death row I don't think they should take that away from families. I wish these men the best. Thank you for sharing.

Here is an excert that addresses that.
"A memo dated Friday from Warden David Bobby of the Ohio State Penitentiary at Youngstown outlined six policy changes being made for inmates under the prison's "administrative maximum security"

It does mention inmates. I interpret that to mean everyone will get that.
