To say Im mad is a understatement, staff did not deliver his xmas card on time

Not only did the super kind staff at OCCJ not deliver his christmas card to him on time. ( I sent it to be there Dec 23 and it was) they held on to it a frikkin week. Before wakin him up at 830 to open the envelope take the card out, the snatched the card from him, threw mah letter at him and walked away.
Wouldnt even let him take a glance at the card before they took it away. When I read it I sat n cried for what seems like forever. I cant believe they were so callous n cold hearted. It werent a fancy card dint have no sticky thangs on it he could peel of nuthin like that. Just a nice sappy christmas card with a extra poem i wrote inside.
I wanted to call em and give em a piece of my mind but couldnt do it for fear of repercussions for J. I;m so tired of the bs those folk in charge of the mail keep doin. and it stresses me out that J gets stressed n upset over it. They straight up lie, they withold mail for no valid reason, inmates should get their mail within 24hours but never do. WTH ugh i hate this i hate this i hate this.

Hang in there i understand your pain mail is a important item of contact between you and your loved one. All you can do is call and put it on record. Is much as it hurts and makes you upset. The saying goes it is what it is. Don't give those assholes the satsfaction of a tear, don't get yourself upset cause it doesn't matter to them. I'm sure your man knows you love him and thats what matters. There going to do what they want anyway there really no way to police the police cause in the end they all cover for each other. Keep your head held high and say f''k them my baby knows i love him. Good luck

Prochef thank you Ima call em tomorrow. Today my language might not be to polite sides i done cried so much my voice is all gone croaky! Its just so effin frustratin. I'm deployed overseas so calls n letters are few n far between. It just tears me up to know that they actually done this infront of his face, like they were tormentin him on purpose. He was shakin so much his celly had to push him away from the CO just incase he lost it.

That is horrible.... I agree with prochef. DO NOT give them that satifaction of knowing that bothered you. He knows you love him and that is all that matters. It may hurt but you have his heart and that they can not tear up. Be strong because I know it hurts so here's a big hug :bighug: Take care!!

I feel your pain girl but at least your man gets sum of his mail those jerks havent given him or me any of the mail me n my man have sent to eachother in over 8 months!!!

Eight months??? That's crazy. Did you call the mail room to find out why? Is he in Texas or Oklahoma?

WTF.... 8 months hell thats messed up on a major level. Have you called em to find out whats goin on? I'm sorry darlin if I felt like that after they held his mail for a week. I cant even begin to imagine how yalls feelin. Big hugs hon
