Default Does your man have a job while in prison?

Just wondering who else out there has a man that works...mine is a baker, and works midnight to 6am....(ugh, I would hate those hours) But I think I need to ask him for some recipes....he makes giant suzy Q cakes, and Ho ho cakes for the warden, and guards. YUM!

My man worked as the floor sweeper they rotate but I like the fact he's learning to get up early and following rules it also help reduce some time.

Nope. No job. Since he's in a max facility and there are a lot of long termers, jobs are coveted. So when an inmate gets a job, they keep it. Needless to say, the waiting list is looooooong.

My guy is in IL, and told me that every 3 years they lay off guys for months to rotate jobs. When I met him he was making $10 a month as "Unemployment". They don't want the same guys doing the same jobs for too long.

My husband is a shop aide. Basically he's the HVAC instructor's assistant. He's paid $50.00 a month.

My J is a house man, he sweeps and mops the tiers, he doesn't have a set time, but gets about 30 hours a week doing it...and makes a whopping 20.00 a month ...that is so sad when I think of it and I hate complaining to him when I think I'm not getting paid enough...

Mine works in the recycling dept. that they have. He likes it a LOT. I am so glad he has a job. I dont put anything on his books because I cannot efford it; I have other bills and things to pay and I love that he can understand that and make his money working. Gosh 2 yrs have flown by so QUICKLY! This website is a little kidish for me so most likely wont be on here long but man, im telling you....if 2 yrs go by so fast, I sure hope 4 more months does! He qualifies for work release in 4 more months!! We are just praying for bed space in that time. If we have to wait longer we will but it wont be much I am soooo thankful for this whole thing; the road that weve been on has been incredibly life changing. Our lives have been a total transfiguation of what it looked like before this all happened. Its crazy how GOD works. His plan in all of this is nothing I would have guessed would happen to me, but it did...and its been one of the highest times of my life just getting to know and love myself along with developing such a strong bond with my hubby. Its been such a ride filled with ups and downs, but the downs make it all worth it. Almost home....CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!

He's in a work camp now but before he works on the sarg's cleaning crew with 5 other guys. He loved it cause they he had a tons of movement, they locked down 20 hrs a day.

No that he's in a work camp tho, suprisingly he doesnt work. figure that one out. The took him out Friday on a road crew to pick up trash but other wise no jobs, just $5.00 state pay.

Yeah, on the outside, my man and I are classically trained pastry chefs. So that's what he's doing in there...he's runnin' the show in the kitchen. My man's got skillz! They don't pay him tho.
