I would like to know if the group will try to get lifer family visits on the ballet somehow and if so.. what are the steps required to do so?

I'm a lifers wife and would pay the damn cdc to let me swing through for a weekend with my man.... doesn't the system need $ like terribly? They rather lay off Co's and cut off our mens yard time which drives them insane and into quarrels then leads to unnecessary 115's... this bone head of a system

Default Exciting News for Lifers

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum, however I have exciting news that I know would be beneficial to many of you. My husband is serving a life sentence as well as a friend of mines, so we've decided to take the initiative to try and restore FAMILY VISITS back for lifers. After speaking with several lawyers we have found one that is compassionate, honest, and motivated to take the case and fight for our rights.

Both of us will be at ISP this weekend and we will have flyers with additional information. If you would like to bring back equal love for lifers please PM me! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

PTO Members,

This Innitiave that you are speaking of is Restore Family Visits which is ran by me and some wonderful ladies called Team Restore Cali Visits. We are not dealing with any attorneys. And no at this time it is not on the ballots we are first going directly to the CDCR to request Admendments to restore family visits for lifers you can read more here:

Restore Cali Family Visits

More here

There you can see for yourself that we are legit and were on the move with our supporters!!!! Thanks Again!!! FYI Our flyers have reached all of the california prisons!! I dont know if there is other organizations duplicating us but at any rate you can see for yourselves our progress!!! Thanks again!!!

Default Restore Cali Family Visits/Support Our Cause!!

Please support our cause, we are in need of Facility Leaders and Volunteers....

We need an individual to step up to be the contact person for the facility they visit the most, we also need volunteers for that facility and in general to pass out flyers and get our cause out into the public.

With this cause we agree that it is cruel and unusual punishment for children and family members of the incarcerated to be denied family visits. We also believe that there should be a balance between the rights of the inmates and the needs of the victims.

WE CAN NOT do this ALONE....

IF WE DO NOT PULL TOGETHER AS A UNIT... NOTHING will happen once again...

I am asking to step up and be a voice... be the change we need...

More Information Here

Hello sweetie,

As I mention in my post above we need volunteers from each prison to pass out fliers and get our cause out into the public. We need our voices heard. You can assist us by helping pass out fliers and bringing awarness at Ironwood that would be a blessing If you go back to my post above you can find ore information. Thank you in advance for your support!!

Even if you don't go frequently to your prison. You can reach out to your church, your community, mail the flyers to your loved one. In this day almost every person knows a person in prison....
