Default He broke it off with me..

Out of nowhere. I promised I'd stay with him, through everything, and right before his sentencing (which we know he's doing a minimum of 2 1/2 years due to the FL min/man), he just said we live two different lives. He said I did nothing wrong but won't talk to me. And just a couple days ago he told me about a future of us together...married, children, etc....I'm so hurt.

sorry that you are goung through this. I know that it is always difficult when it comes out of nowhere. Could it be maybe that he is going through his own personal struggle with being in jail etc???? Sometimes when we are put in situations we tend to pull away from the people that love us the most.

I know it doesn't make any sense to you and hard to try to figure out what's going on in his head, but all you can do is give him space and let him deal with whatever he is going through.

He's hurt, he's going through it and in a twisted logic he loves you so doesn't want *you* to be locked up with him, metaphorically speaking, they hear horror stories in there so he's trying to protect you and protect himself in the only way he knows how.

As hard as it is, back off from him romantically for now, and still be there for him and be his friend, write him, visit him if your able and just keep doing you. Most likely he'll come back around when he's at his parent institution and the inital shock wears off. Sorry your going through this, good luck!

you guys were/are right. we talked a little and he said he wanted to be by himself due to his situation. he said i was an awesome person and wants to stay good friends. i have a feeling he'll eventually come around, but i'm not going to push it. i just want him to know i care and i'm going to support him.

Good! Also, a foundation of a friendship will make a great relationship someday : ) the fact that you're there for him WILL mean something to him. Good luck! : )

Sweetie, sorry to hear that! He thinks he's protecting you. He'll come around. I promise.
