QUESTION: Parole Vs. Probation Rules in NH

My husband is due to come off Parole in a few months and serve only his probation (which has been running concurrently with parole for the past year and a half) for another year. He was convicted of possession of child pornography and his parole stipulations/probation stipulations are a bit confusing. We are aware that his Parole/Probation officer can enforce whatever rules he wants while on Parole, but doesn't the officer have to abide by the court ordered probation rules or can he make up his own???

The primary issue here is that his Parole rules say he can't be home alone with our children without someone who has taken a chaperone class (Me) but his PROBATION rules say he can't be alone with any children EXCEPT family. Can his Parole/Probation officer...once he is on probation ONLY....enforce the PAROLE rule of no unsupervised contact????

If this was confusing please let me know....it made sense in my head.
