Interstate Compact help!!

Hello everyone, i used to read these forums back when my ex was in prison and i was helping him to get out.

It has been not even 2 months and this oh so changed man went behind my back and rented another apt. moved out yesterday and took some of my items..the only reason the Interstate Compact was approved was because we are a gay couple..but he no longer lives here what should i do? do i need to call the Probation officer?

To make the story short he got Denied when he first attempted to get transfered over here because the agent who was doing the papers was not able to figure out how to put me as his 4 year partner, when he tried again they approved it and my lawyer explained that was the only reason it was approved, he has a 0 alchohol tolerance or he will go back to prison but after he left yesterday he called me at night and sounded completely drunk, what should i do? I do not want to be responsible for his action and his probation officer came to my house to make sure we were together a month ago.. please help..

You need to call his probation officer, you will be responsible for everything he does, because you rented a place together.
I hate to say it but sometimes they come out of prison having learned more things from dudes that have vises, more than they ever could of learned on the streets. It's a hook up sometimes inside. I really hope you get everything figured out. It sounds like he's on self destruct. He knows he's doing wrong and if he stayed with you he felt like he had to stay on the right track. God bless.

I am sad to hear this guy used you like that. Call the PO, tell the truth, then let it go...

I know you dont think so now, but you are better off without him, he would have dragged you down. Keep the faith. better will be looking for you
