Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hi Everyone
I am wondering if anyone has information about what happens when a Canadian who has been incarcerated in the US is transferred into the Canadian system? My boyfriend is coming back to CANADA ( his transfer treaty has been approved by califonia ) and we are wondering where he will go and what the process is.

hi , thanks for the reply they havent told him yet , he got called to medical last week and they took xrays he asked why they were doing this and they said that the gov of canada was reaquesting a full medicall to be sure that his healthy , iv tried calling the consulate of canada in los angeles , but no one is returning my calls , we wanted to know how long after the he gets medicall clear whats candas nxt step thanks

Hi ...

IF he has been APPROVED by Caifornia, then he WILL be going home to Canada, his home town. He will have to make sure that he has HIS Canadian ID stating he IS a CANADIAN citizen in Canada, otherwise, IF California takes him there, then he will not have to worry about any of that stuff.

Unlike, anyone from the U.S to go to Canada with a felony of any kind cannot cross the border of Canada.
