Amnesty International has (finally) gotten involved in Steven's case. Here's a link to their petition which I received thru one of Steven's Facebook pages.

Is this information available from a viable independent source or can it only be seen on his own or supporters websites?

If it can't be verified by an independent authority of some sort it makes it difficult for me to write or ring in support as the info appears only to have come from the horses mouth and while I would like to think we are all inherently truthful I know that self-preservation is a powerful motivator and I would like to be confident in his innocence before committing myself in writing or verbally.

I am not neccessarily anti death penalty but certainly would not like to see innocent people put to death. Can anyone assist with verifying any of the information in previous posts from an independent source?

..Are there any news about Steven? I signed petition at Amnesty, change.org, send a letter to the governors office (with only an automatical respond), wrote a note incl. a link on Rick Perry's FB page.. What else can we do??? There is so little time left!!!

That is BS that someone WENT FORWARD said he commited the crime but they are KILLING an innocent man! Seriously, what is wrong with our justice system these days? So sad. My prayers are with his family !

This is going around facebook right now I called and have posted it every where I can think of hopefully it helps my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family tonight.

Steven did not! & if we dont get enough people to call & object to it, Steven will be killed today by the state of Texas.
