Default He's the one

I first have to say that for the first time I can be totally honest about my situation with NO judgement. I'm 31 he's 36, we meet way back when we were young teens. Of course life took its course and we lost touch. 15 years later I find him again but behind bars. He was into his 11 year serving life (in Canada life is 25 years) We started writing each other and from there it grew into a relationship. I am mad crazy about him and i love him so much. Not sure how it is in the USA but in Canada there is a Faint Hope clause that lifers can apply for once served 15 years. It gives the potential for parole, if denied well another journey we will travel together. He's the one for me and I'm soooooo glad that I have found this sight. I have felt very alone for sometime now meaning with not having someone to talk to who can relate. We all know that we have good days and bad days. Thanks for reading and bigs hugs go out to all the strong women/men out there who have loved ones on the inside

AWWW that is sweet!!! My husband is a lifer and I know it is a hard road to travel. Then again, even having your man do ANY time is hard!! Mine has been gone 14 years and no this is NOT where I thought we would be, but I can't imagine being anywhere else but by his side!

BIG HUGS TO YOU!!!!!

That's so sweet, I'm with a lifer to and it is not easy for sure, but I love our life together, in spite of all the challenges we face.

i got to say it to... i'm sure i'm in love with a man i never freakin' met!!! and trust me,i dont give my heart or trust and damned sure not love very easily or with out being dragged kicking and screaming all the way to the point of finally realizing and admitting how i feel.i been sooo mad at my guy cause of some dumb sh^t.i'm gonna make myself FINALLY write "THE" letter tomorrow.so i'm real scared of his reaction. he's been in a VERY LONG time with yrs. &yrs. to go till he gets out. i wrote just for the hell of it one day to a pp web site. he caught my eye, he's a very sexy papi indeed!! but like i said i fought this feeling cause i'm scared of HIS reaction and kept putting off the letter to tell him how feel. i love this site cause i can get all my anger, frustrations out and talk also of happy things and read of how others go thru the same things and it helps me not feel so alone : )
