Yes, my brother has been there 19 calender years this month,do u by chance knw if u receive a life sentence with 15 before parole eligibility, when or will he ever make parole?

My son has been in Telford ad seg for about 7 years. He was in Gurney for a year before transfer. He will be home on 6/8/12......less than 4 months from now....we are excited and afraid at the same time.

My Love has been their 17 years the parole chances i can't tell you. No one really can as you know this is TX the most backward state in the U.S. Holler

My Son was just transferred to Telford. I went to see him this past Sat the 23 of June. The prison there is a maximum and hated to see that, but at least he is close to the area I live, just 65 miles away from home. Did not like all the security doors, but guess that is just the way it is in a max. He is in a dorm and hopefully will be safer there than in the other areas at that prison. I worry about the heat on the inmates and the CO's. It is enough to make both contankerous. Guess time will tell of how he adjusts there. He just came from Dalhart and that was a small prison. can anyone give me info pertaining to inmates classification. They range in G1 thru G5. My son is a G4. I have looked on the TDCJ website and cannot find it anywhere.

yes i have a love one in telford now for 12 yrs,and he comes up for parole in 12more yrs,he doing a 50 yr ,,i have know him now 2 1/2 years .and i worry sometimes too about the heat down there and its like they are always haveing lock downs but i guess thats normal..i think thats make them ill at time ,,
and i have a question to anyone that may can help medoes anyone know how to get a list of ''collage degree'' that prisoner can take while in prison.i heard they have a list in diffrent prisons just wondering if they have a programe like this ,,,and what the rules on getting married there AT TELFORD i also heard they only can get married by proxy ,,does any one have any info on that,,,thank,,,

I received a letter saying the unit was in lock down and that my loved one hasn't been able to make commissary because of that. I believe he's in PC, so idk if that makes a difference. But he's having to use the supplies he bought right before he got transferred there carefully. Maybe that's the reason? Have you tried contacting the unit?

Yes I just called today and they told me they just got off lockdown monday.... He hasnt wrote in 3 weeks because of not being able to go to commissary!! Thanks for the info
