Page 57 explains sentencing

You don't mention if he/she was convicted of a Felony or Misdemeanor or what he/she was convicted of.
You only mention it was under structured sentencing and they got the max of 4 months and has 54 days to go.
It sounds as though it was a DWI conviction.
Normally under structured sentencing one has to do 100% of the minimum except:
"Those offenders serving sentences for Driving While Impaired (DWI), Driving While Impaired in a Commercial Vehicle, and/or Failure to Comply with Control Conditions by Persons with Communicable Diseases where the offense occurred on or after October 1, 1994, are not subject to the provisions of the Structured Sentencing Act."

If he/she was convicted of DWI when they are sent to prison and their time is calculated everything is calculated in days:
4 months = 120 days
then the time is cut in half = 60 days
subtract any jail credit and you get the tentative release date.
