Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

I found out this morning some very heartbreaking news, and been upset since she told me. I can do nothing for her, when she needs so much, so I am going to do what I can. Our friend LoveBuggy has been going through some rough times lately. She has been keeping strong, despite having severe health problems. As many of you know she has two young children. She found out yesterday that she has something that will probably get progressively worse and she will suffer the rest of her life, no cure. I will not go over the details, I will leave that up to her if she feels like sharing. Please give her your well wishes and keep her in your prayers. At a time she should be celebrating(she has under a year), she is going through such hardships. She has been such a great friend through our years here on PTO,again please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. My thoughts and prayers are with you G!

She has strong family support, but the news came yesterday and she is still processing. She is handling the news well, however it is probably going to take some time to process and I am sure a whole range of emotions for a while to come

Thanks OneDay! I need some extra prayers right now. I have been having some numbness in my legs and pain throughout my back for 3 months. Thought maybe a horrible pinched nerve. Every test didn't tell me anything until my test results from a brain scan yesterday. It was positive for MS. It answers a lot of questions because I almost felt like I was going crazy.

I am still processing all of this. My niece called the prison last night to get a message to R to call me and he did. So thankful he's at a prison that would even do that. He said his love is unconditional and we will battle this together. Like OneDay said I have a very big family and they are SUPER supportive. I will battle this and be strong for my two girls. They keep me from a pity party for myself.

Well that was the first thing that came to mind when I read the OP that you were dealing with MS. ((((hugs)))) This must be so hard with R in prison and your babies. But you have your family to be there for you. Also remember it affects people differently. My uncle has MS and other than pain he hasn't lost any mobility. Stay positive and pray. I will pray for you. I have huge faith in God. He knows those girls need their mama. I'm here for you too if you ever need to talk. I'll also tell my mom to put Gina in her prayer group. We'll all see you through this, you'll be ok.

So sorry to hear this. Sending love and prayers to you and your family <3. But to maybe give you a little hope, my older sister has had MS for going on 40 years now, and she never got that much worse. She raised her kids and worked, and now is helping with her grandkids. Stay positive and hopeful!

My aunt and also an old roommate of mine have MS. While not a fun disease, it has good days and bad days. Keep strong and smile at the world. Confuse the crap out of them!

My step sister was diganosed with MS 10 years ago-and just starting having to take meds for it!

I'm sure this was a shock and not the news you were hoping for but you're such a tough chickie...(smile). You'll handle this the best way you can and your girls will learn just one more lesson about mommy's strength.

What is it they say about adversity building character? (smile)

I'm doing good and the girls had a wonderful Christmas. So ready for 2012. In 2008 it seemed 2012 was a lifetime away. Daddy will be home in August and we can't wait.
