Fiance Is Being Moved Right Before Our Wedding!!

Got a call from my sweetheart.
We were choppin' it up for a few and then he said "babe I've got bad news and good news."
Ever get a real sinkin' and sick feelin' when someone you love tells you that?
I told him to give me the bad news first.
He said that he is at reception in Orlando.
For my fellow Floridians y'all already knows what this means.
HE'S BEING TRANSFERRED RIGHT BEFORE OUR WEDDING!!!!!!



I couldn't believe it. The marriage license is at the PREVIOUS facility.
Shoot, he's not even sure where they're gonna put him.
We've only got 60 days till that expires.
If that should happen, then guess who just paid $93.50 for basically nothin'?
Had already made the car and hotel reservations.
Good thing they weren't paid for yet.
Just today I had gone on Expedia and saw that they were offering a special price if I paid for the room today.
But I got busy and never had a chance to.
Thank the Lord!!
He's hoping that he will be moved closer to his fam and mine.
Not quite sure how I feel.
Sorta numb I think.
Being angry really is a counter productive emotion right now.
One thing is for sure.
Me and my future hubby will have QUITE the story to share with loved ones once we do tie the knot!!
We're not givin' up though!!

He thinks that he will be moved closer to his mom's which would be great, bcuz then she would be able to come to the wedding and I would be able to visit my relatives as well as his since they all live in the same town. No offense to anyone that does a marriage by proxy, but if me and my man can't be right there in front of each other and able to get that "you may kiss the bride," kiss then I don't want to do it.

I hope we don't have to begin again because Tallahassee has already approved us. All we were doin' was waitin' on a date.

OMG!! Wat a load of BS!! I'm so sorry!!! Man i kno how much trouble u had to go thru just to get the stuff 2gether 4 u both to be able to get married. Does ur man kno y he had to be transferred? Geez man..that really sux!! I really hope u didn't waste all that $$$ 4 nothing. They should refund ur money 4 doing that shit to u, or @ least allow u guys to get married right away where he's @ now. Good luck to u!! I hope things go the way u want em to. I'd b pretty pissed off cuz its' like they ruined ur plans and back track on ur goals.

Yes, gurl...I was VERY disappointed. But I'm just tryin to remain positive. I'm really grateful that the process was already done. Just tryin to make the most of this situation.

God is looking out for you girl, I know it doesn't seem like it with the drama that is going on, but you all will be closer to his and your family, that will make it so nice. My family doesn't want us getting married, and his Mama and I just love one another so we wanted to go closer to where she lives , but it's not looking like that is going to happen. I'll just have to drive down and go get her for the wedding. It's a 3 hour drive one way, but it's worth it to have Mama at the wedding. None of my family is going except our son. (my son from a previous marriage) He said boo that's all that matters, is that we have our immediate family there for sure. It hurts to see the sadness in his eyes when he knows that my family don't approve. My poor baby. Sorry got off track.. I tend to do that sometimes. It will all work out sweetie. He has your back.
