This is my first and last time doing this. My brother is also in but that is entirely different. I love this man so much and hope and pray that things will work out for us but if not I will survive.

this is my first time dealing with it as the girlfriend.
my dad and uncles on his side were all in prison for most of life. so i have dealt with it as not having the men i needed in my life and now im trying to deal with it as not having the man i love in my life.
its different and i cant deal with it the same.

This is a total first for me! I didn't know a single thing when this all started, but thanks to PTO I have learned so much! There is still so much I need to learn...but I guess that's why I'm on here every day!! LOL!
This is his second bid, but I sure hope this is it! For both of us!!

My 1st time as the girlfriend and my last time. This is way tooooooo hard for me to do again.

I never dreamed that a life like this existed and I'm sorry for anyone who has to or chooses to go through this. I love him and that is why I stay. This is his 1st bid as well but should he choose to go back because he messed up then he will be in without me.

The worrying, being lonely for him just all of the prison bs is too much to take some days and we still have the normal stuff to deal with as well.

Hell no this is it for me! Anyone who chooses to do this more than once is a better woman than I am and you've got my blessing. Nope nah no!

Can't wait until he is done, only 6 more months to go

This is my first time. My husband has been in for about a year now, 2 to go. I would love to say I'll "never" do this again, but I've learned not to say "never". Because, I "never" thought I would be in this living nightmare a first time. However, this is not his first time. I hope and pray with everything I have that we never have to go through this again, I'm getting too old for this kind of stuff..lol.

FIRST, only and LAST!!

Paulie asked me today, could I do 6 or 7 years of this. I told no way. I love him, but it's just too damn hard. I visit every weekend, take calls every day, write 2-3 times a week. I exhausted. I go to school, teach, and work a full time job. I have a life of friends and family, and prison just sucks the life out of me!! I have a 2 hour drive every weekend (each way), then there's the quarters!! I know, I just started skipping a few weekends, as I need time off, but overall, this sucks!!!

This is my 1st, and hopefully my last. I tell him all the time that IF he chooses to follow the same path when he gets out, he's gonna do it alone.. but... I would love to sit here and say that, but I also said that and meant it when he was arrested this time, LOL. So... I can't honestly answer whether I'd leave or stick with it again until that moment in time. All I can say is I'd rather have him home with me and I will do everything possible to help guide him in a better direction upon release.

this is my first, and i will never ever do it again. i know i could, but if hubby cant make lifestyle changes after this 2 and a half years, than i will not do it again.

this is my first time and only time as well this is a really hard thing to do and its alot of money and traveling and its so hard on our family.

This is my first time. I don't know if I would do it again a second time knowing what I know now about being a prison girlfriend/wife. But then again, I am so in love with this man that I am doing things that I never thought I would do. So this is my first time, hopefully my only time.

As a girlfriend, it's my first time. But, I've been around the prison life for a long time. My brother has been incarcerated for 15 or so years now. In addition, my mom married (and divorced) an ex-con and spent most of my childhood being romanced via letter and phone call by a repeat fed offender who never seemed to be out for longer than 6 months yet still managed to knock up some other woman during that time.

First and LAST! Never doing this again. I love him but I feel like when he gets home he has a home to go to. I already told him he needs to be there every night (doesn't matter the time but it does matter what he's doing though

)
And if he leaves our home and doesn't come back one night and I get that collect call, he doesn't have one anymore period. But I have faith in him and I know he's a strong person who is able to come out of anything better than he came in so I don't think that's gonna be a problem.

My first boyfriend did time in county (several times) & 18 months DOC but we were on and off (i was 18/19). So this is i guess you can say my second time....but for sure my last.
