My man is in for armed robbery, gang related, and attemted murder......took a plea and got 7 years and 3 months.

Marty is in for violating probation but his original charge is complicated. Most of it is stupidity , being honest and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

back in 97 ( we were just meeting at that time) his ex movedto another state and the only way he really had to keep intouch with his kids was email. He was new to the internet then. He got an aol account to keep in touch with his kids, was browsing one night and found this chat room ( i forget the name of it now ). it just seemed like any chat room and he joined it a few times. Then his aol email account got full of email forwards. Being new to the internet and stuff he forwarded them before he looked at them. He opened 4 of them and as soon as he looked at them he deleted them all. It was porn pics that looked like depicting someone under the age of 18. after about a week or so of this he cancelled his aol account. About 6 months later the police showed up to speak with him adn search his computer. They didn't find any traces of anything because his comp crashed not long before and was reformated. But the asked him if he saw the pics and he was honest and said yes. So they arrested him and he got 30 days in jail and 5 years probation.

We were just getting to know each other at that time, ( we met on the internet playing euchre at pogo.com ) and I didn't know any of this. Our relationship grew and in 2000 we met face to face, he came up to canada to see me and ended up staying here for 4 years.

Meanwhile we were making a life together and loving each other, and he was violating his probation which i still didn't know. I just found all this out June 4 of this year when immigration found him due to a minor traffic fine 2 months earlier that put his name in the system.

At first I didn't know what to think, I had a good talk with my children about how marty behaved with them and then I did some searching on the internet to find actual records of what his charges were.

We have done lots of talking, cursing, crying, and everything else adn I am gonna give him another chance at being honest and forthcoming.

He is currently in Ononada County Jail waiting to be moved to a state facility where he will server 1 1/3 years state time for the probation voilation of that charge.

He thinks he is gonna go to Elmira for a short while first, we will find out next week, his hearing is on tuesday to make his sentence official.

I love him and other than the above he is the best thing that happened to my children and I.. I am standing by him, supporting him, loving and missing him and hopefully in a year or so we will be together as a family again in the states.

My husband was set up and busted with 1lb of speed and given 15 years.........the crime DOES NOT fit the punishment!!!!

I was there also but was only 17 and the case was droped against me.

My man is in jail for theft by receiving, while in jail for that they charged him with 85 counts of first degree criminal damage to property, he is facing a possible 850 years in prison. I love him and have faith he will beat the charges, but im prepared for the possibility he may not. Well im trying to prepare anyways. Is one ever really prepared to go thru this?

Like most people on this board, where do I start?
Joker's been in trouble since he was 11, 2 times for arson, once for destruction of property, 1 DUI, and then in 1999, he started writing bad checks. In VA, anything over $200 in a felony, well, they combined several checks that were written to the same place, and he ended up with 3 felonies. He has charges in 3 different counties. He did 21 1/2 months, and was released, failed a urine in Aug. of 2003, went back to jail for 4 months. Then in June of this year, he was using crack again, and admitted it to his PO, so she slammed him back in jail. He was in drug program, but didn't finish due to health problems. We find out what they will do to him on August 2, 2004. He has 11 years hanging over his head, and over $9,000 in restitution.

my ex husband is in for agravated sexual assulte he had consensial sex with a minor and her parents turned him in even though she lied and said she was 18 he got 10 yrs probation and viloated his probation by missing payments and meetings and was sentenced to 6 yrs he has been in for 2 yrs

My fiance was convicted of first degree murder, but it should have been a lesser charge it was in self defense. I know they all say that, but how many really mean it. Count my baby as one of the few.........

So dumb ass Sonny decides he'll help his partner out, not realizing they were gonna count things in AZ as strikes. He was looking at 49 years when he started and they got it down to 18!!! He has to do 50%

my hubby 1st went in on a attempted murder charge but with the lack of evidence of if he used the weapon on someone they had to drop that charge and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree c felony cuz the weapon was in the car and they had to charge him with something...so he got 6yrs for that only reason he got so much time cuz he was already a convicted felon for a robbery charge he did 3yrs for that..this yr in may it will make 4yrs hes been in hopefully next yr he will get out on parole after being in for 5yrs ~fingers crossed

RA= trying to protect his head while being tazered 7 times by GPD--- while in hancuffs !!!!
FE= only witness of the accussed was the driver who actually did the crime LOL!

The JUDGE gave him maximum sentence because I filed for a DOJ investigation of the BC DA for failure to investigate excessive force and failure to produce evidence of a crime....He is doing 3 years...
