Not my man, my best friend, but complete stupidity....
Robbery 2 counts-15 years each
Felony Assault-10 years
Theft-10 years
All consecutive (stacked) =50 years
Then he got an escape charge, which added 5...
So 55 years.... *sigh*

He was originally charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, malicious assault, conspiracy to commit malicious assault, & kidnapping. The only ones that stuck were malicious assault & conspiracy to commit malicious assault.

My husband was charged with possession, First time in any kind of trouble ever and they gave him 10 years!!

Charged with one count of bank fraud for $7,000. No identity theft involved or anything...fake checks. Bank fraud of any kind is a Federal aggravated felony and carries a max sentence of 30 years and max fine of $1 million. He's been waiting for 3-1/2 months. Not sure if he's going to trial or doing a plea...hopefully we will know more in Feb. The waiting is killing me. And since it's an aggravated felony and his visa is recently expired he will be deported and likely have some sort of ban on coming back to the U.S. For $7,000. Dammit.

He's getting charged with 1st degree murder and only got 5 months?! Wow. He got lucky.

My love has been in county for 2 months. His charges are 5 drug charges with intent, and posession of a firearm by a convicted felon(which wasnt his)these are previous charges thst were brought back due to a pv. He is looking at 68-128 months, im scared to death.:'(

Being a bonehead on drugs! Not being able to pay for a $130 cab ride = 16 months with half cause of prior theft charges. His famous line " I steal, I don't kill"

When I was in jail I was in for probation violation but the original charges were property crimes.

My fiancé is in prison for murder in the second, robbery in the 1 and 2 gun charges. (life in prison for all 4 charges but has a chance of parole and his sentence is also SC) but in Missouri life is only 30-35 years and he's been in there for 7 already and he goes to the parole board in 8 years.

For killing the dude who hit him in the head with a baseball bat in "middle school" and later stole from him, including ineffective cousel in a 'state' that has forgotten all of the children, and Judges that were in BED literally and every which way to lock up evey Black Male they could in order to get Federal Dollars---and the 'victims' family stands up for MY husband. Go figure -- This is of course America the land of the Bull-Dookey!!!

Robbery & theft in one county,(4 years) breaking and entering and theft in the other county (6 months). They ran it consecutive, but he's got nothing else he has to worry about out there, and he's definately learned his lesson!

well my man is in for theft,breaking and entering,posesstion(a lil of everything) he has sold someones tralior on a party line, broke in a rv, broke into a pharmacy and while he was in jail caught a prison contriband charge and possesstion as well for trying to get weed in while he was working on hiway patrol last but not least he has a chrge in another county that he doesnt yet know what for because he was too trashed and doesnt remember anything so we definatly have alot to work through

My hubby is in for a yr and a day for being a felon (a theft charge from over 10 yrs ago) in possession of a fire arm(the only reason my hubby had the gun was to commit suicide. The cops found him passed out (he took a bottle of xanax and some vicodin) with the gun in his mouth.

Originally he was charged with aggrivated burglary but took a plea deal for affray- despite his co defendant and witness statements saying that he was there as peacekeeper :-/

originally got the DP for 3 counts of murder and 1 count of armed robbery (only one person was killed so I don't understand the three counts of murder). Sentence was changed to LWOP and we are still fighting it since he wasn't even at the scene of the crime. :/

My friend is in for dogfighting... 10 years max, but he will only do 2 years.. Maybe not even that... He's in the 6 month program now... Hopefully, he will be out this summer!
