As I've mentioned, my babe is out on bail right now. He'll be sentenced and taken away Jan 13th...as of right now it looks like he'll do 3.5 in state prison. Would it be stupid or rash of us to elope before he goes in? I know if we don't I will regret it once he's gone...

well with that being said about regret for not doing it...then go for it.....it will be much easier if you do it before he gets into the system....plus you would be able to enjoy your wedding night, compared to leaving him at the prison....i say go for it!!!

I say go for it to. It is such a hassle to do it while he is locked up and I heard from other women that night home without the husband you just married is hard just like the day he first gets arrested. Me and TJ decided to wait until he gets home in may 2014. But if I had time with him now in your case I would becuz like u said I would probably regret it once he is gone. thanks girls! we're thinking about eloping in nyc, appx 6 hours from where we live. he has no money to his name and i don't have that much more, we're worried about what our parents will think, and we're on a time limit...but with all that said i still wanna do it! if i haven't given up on him yet i don't see me ever giving up...he's worth any wait in the world!

It depends on how start feeling once you realize that he is away.

I got into arguments with my husband I wanted to be married before he went he wanted to wait...I finally talked to him enough he did it

& we are sooooooooo happy we did it before. We plan to renew vows with friends & family on our 5 yr anniversary.. I say go for it!!!
