Your approval is good for 2 years but I usually wait for them to ask me to update my application instead of bringing it up. Call and ask if you are still on his visiting list. Good luck

Hi, iam new at this and i want to know i sent an email to request a visit for this weekend at KERN KELLY STATE PRISON, and the reply said.......

""The Inmate you are requesting to visit is currently on a Facility which is under a modified program and is not having visits""

Does anyone know what this means? Thanks!

Welcome to KVSP!!! That means that the facility is on lockdown and that there are no visits until further notice... ;( it really sucks... They've been on modified since the beginning of the year.. Hopefully it ends soon...

If you are trying to visit C yard they are on lockdown, they've been on lockdown for about a week or two. Hope this helps.
