Hello Ladies.. Happy New Years....!

I was wondering I had filled out a visiting form to visit the same person about 3 1/2 years ago. My question is do I have to fill out a new one???? And if so How long does it take to get aproved after i send it in???? And Does having a recent unpaid trafic ticket afect me???? Thank You Ladies!

yes u would have to reapply.. its can take 6-8 weeks to get approved and im not sure bout the ticket sorry i cant help with that

Actually, you only have to reapply if he has been released and reincarcerated... if he has been incarcerated the entire time, then you just need to update your information.

As for the unpaid ticket, it depends if it is just in collections then no, but if it has progressed to a failure to pay then you will not be approved.

Mainline is first come first leave basis.. but only if its super busy.. but dont worry.. delanobisnt packed.. i say its packed cause i remember how it was before the mainline opened. (:

I finally got approved and I'm going this sat to visit. Is there any colors I'm not allowed to wear? Also he's in reception I called the told me it's an hour visit, is there any other advice anyone else has?

Congrats!!!! My advice just keep it safe so stay away from the blues no BLUE jeans white shirts need to have a print on them.. nothing tight no underwired bra.. all u can take in is ur id no need for money oh u cant have the colors the officers have.. oh and no see through where u going from???

Does anyone know if Monday is the only day that you can call to make an appointment to visit? I just called and was told it was a holiday so there wasn't anyone to make an appointment with. Does this mean I have to wait until NEXT Monday to make one for the following weekend ?

Wasnt aware u had to make one.. i know the ad seg (the hole) inmates do need an appt but not reception or mainline...

Has anyone here visited someone in Ad-Seg ? I'm wondering what to expect. I would imagine the dress code is the same but obviously I wouldn't be bringing money for the vending machines.
What can I bring in and how would it be different from visiting the "normal" side?

Only difference is that they are dressed in white and would be escorted by the officers to a private room... I see the adseg inmates pass through visits all the time.. its the only difference : )

What about before you go in? Do you know if you have to wait in a long line forever if you have an actual appointment time? I haven't visited this prison before and also haven't visited him since the mid 2000's and that was some place else.

No u go in fill out the form and when ur called up just take off ur shoes sweater and jewlery put it in a lil box they look at what ur wearing then go through the metal detector get ur pass and then go across the gates give the officer ur pass.. they call ur loved one and then they'll give u the window number : ) since ur ad seg i dont think u wait long after walking in
