I got a nice Thank You letter from Jeffrey D. in TX! Something that struck me was that after the date he wrote A.D. Now I know what BC and AC and a few others mean but does anyone know what those letters stand for? LOL

A.D. stands for Anno Domini, which is Latin for "year of our Lord," and it means the number of years since the time of Jesus Christ. That is the only meaning of AD that I know of ZZ

Thanks Donna. I just thought it was was odd that someone would put that after the current date. I never say that from any of my pals!

I know I haven't been around at all. I just wanted to let you all know, I received a letter from my pen friend (Joe D. from Texas) on Saturday. He said he got a bunch of cards from you all and he wanted to tell you thank you so much. He's been in the infirmary quite a bit lately and really needed the lift. He didn't know who put him in for the swap, but I guess he thought it was me. I wrote back telling him I didn't put him on there, but also I would like to give a big thank you to whoever did. It really boosted his spirits. Thanks again everyone!

I haven't been on PTO for some time now cause I was having my final sem exams and I went off immediately after that for a holiday haha, so I'm VERY behind on Thank Yous! But I received some sweet Thank Yous from:

Lonnie Thompson (I think the OP is Lynn)
James Kimball (OP is Dona. He's VERY sweet Dona, please thank him for me for his VERY sweet note, I really appreciate it!)
Michael Albert Marino (I'm really sorry, I can't remember who the OP is :/ He wrote me a VERY long letter, is it alright if I reply him back?)

Also, Roy Allen Lynn wants me to thank everyone who sent him a sympathy card or letter, he really appreciates it, and he's doing so much better because all of you helped him so much with your words. Lol, he calls you all "special people"

But he is doing a lot better thanks to all of you, he said he wrote a few of you back and he wanted to write more but he couldn't afford it. But he really appreciates it, and so do I, so thank you to all you "special people" here for helping my friend
