Default 85% time change?

Happy New Years Everyone!

I was recently told by my husband that one of the CO's told him that there is talks about reducing the 85% law. Has anyone else heard of this and if so can you provide me with the information to look into this situation.

Thank you.

I think there has been alot of talk about this 85% thing changing.. just in the 14 months my husbands been gone I would say I have heard 3-4 times at least about it..there are things like petitions people can sign for it..and also something to do with changing how many good time days they get and stuff, but none of it has actually happened.. if it does I wonder if the people that are already in would benifit from the change or would it just be people that go in from that date forward.. hmm guess we'll find out if changes

The number good time days has changed for the better per HB 463, signed into law last year. However, the 85% has not changed to 65%

So its more then 54 or however many it was? He told me they weren't actually getting them all so I think that's supposed to change too. I guess people were getting 47.. but I had read more recently it might change to more.. :-/.. sorry I'm on my phone its hard to read.. I looked a little I soo wish house arrest would count toward time off! My husband was on it for a year!
