He said the winds were really bad and they may have been even though I only live about an hrs drive from there, the winds really do get bad as it is up in the desert and I live in the valley. But he said it blew out the power. I keep missing his calls when I got the email he said he had been trying to call me, so then I tried to have my phone on me at work but in the evening our adolescent kids come in and after I am dealing all kinds of things!! so he tried again and again I missed the calls

so here I am waiting again,he gets frustrated and so do I!!

I will talk with him though!! Hope u hear something soon!!

Don't get frustrated babe, we can't control everything around us, besides its not like your not doing anything when you don't pick up the phone

I can't believe the winds knocked the power thats weird, how weak are their cables? well i haven't heard from him yet

Im starting to get really worried but i truly hope nothings wrong.

Yea the winds get very bad out there extremely bad to the point of knocking out the power lines, flipping trucks etc. Well, he has been emailing me and I know he will call again today. I hope you hear something soon! Now that the phonelines r up have u tried to call the prison? Maybe they will answer now! I will pray u hear something soon.

well ya i finally heard from mine on saturday night and it had been a week, so by then I was going nuts..and he surprised me with a phone call!!! I asked him what went down and like yours he said it was only the weather the first few days and then everything was normal again, thats when i asked him why i haven't heard from him for a week and then he pointed out what a goof i was for not reading his email correctly lol which was telling me he's low on credits aaargggh "stupidity" on my behalf. Umm everything sounded normal and he said every things cool over there. But I haven't talked to him since then, but I should be in a day or 2, so ill find out if you don't get a chance to sooner babe. Don't stress yourself too much, from what i understood that things have been chilled there lately, so hopefully its a stupid reason why you haven't heard from him...

Yes he called later at night. he was telling me they are on a diff schedule... Makes it harder for him to email as much as we'd like, to top it off my BF is a slow typer lol... But he says it will go back to what it was in March..hope you hear from yours soon!!

nope nothing yet.....who knows....he'll get at me when he can but even when he can't email he will at least call so, since that hasn't happened he maybe in the hole. Another time it went on for a long time then finally he called as soon as he was out, he told me they grabbed a bunch of them off the yard for some crap and he happened to get caught up. It's just unusual for him not to call at the very least, he can call me collect so it's something , that I know. Patience is a virtual just not mine!! LOL I have no patience!! Glad to know everyone's else's LO's are ok!!

One email very short yesterday said he would call but nada! @ what did he mean they are on a different schedule? He too is very slow at typing so I am not sure if its cuz they only have a few minutes or what? Yup I am upset cuz I felt like after all those days without any word from him and thats all I get? Are you kidding me???

Its like I said I have patience for all of this nowadays!!

I hate it when that happens, those few words in an email, hardly make up for it! Im not sure what @JusBe meant by changing shifts, my man has the same routine goin on, maybe when she gets back you can ask her Saprky

Sorry guys hadn't checked this. Well he didn't really explain or I didn't understand he said they have breakfast and then they have them out for the most part of the day and then by the times he comes back in it's lunch. I'm not sure what it used to be like so don't know the difference. He has only been in USP for a month so wasn't sure about what its like on a regular basis, you know. But yeah I got an email today says he hasnt been feeling good. Sounds like a bug might be going around. But I completely feel you on getting those short emails after so long. Ugh its irritating... I had no idea they were charged for how long they're on checking their email but since we have slow typers that explains a lot... I hope you hear from you LO soon.... I go Crazy when its been too long.

Questions for both of you.... Did either of you send your love ones Valentine's cards? Or do either of you know like what they allow as far as all that cute stuff LOL I got a pretty plain one cause I didn't want it to get sent back but the envelope is red... Will that get it sent back??

I have gotten short emails but today was actually more like it was. He said he has written me 2 or 3 letters but I have received any yet....I sent him a Valentine's card it was nice but no glitter or anything I actually thought it was very nice, it is also his b/d on Valentine's oops don't say nada!! anyways I have sent cards with red envelopes and they have not come back. I know from state it can't have glitter or anything like that so even though this is Feds i still keep that in mind. Thanks JusB and utahndolce, its nice when there is someone to vent with. He just called right now so we got to talk a lil ...... I feel better lets see if I get those letras!

Ya babe they have to buy credits to be able to write emails! Im not sure but I think $5 buys a 100 credits or something..

I live over seas lol so I had to send mine his v-day card since the 28th of Jan, it just got to adelanto now and is waiting to be picked up!!! mine is plain as well, there shouldn't be a problem with the envelope being red

I finally got one of the letters he said he sent but there should have been a couple more from him, this one wasn't bad he sent it monday and I got it today but he said he sent others before this one, hmmmmm mail is crazy. Yup, I have sent red envelopes and all so far have gotten to him. He was saying he's out of minutes to email so we'll have to write, yeah ok... I try to write but I work looooonnnnggg hours and am on the computer most of the time and coming home to write is not my choice at night....lol I will send cards as they are easiest for me. I keep hoping things will lighten up at work but for now it's just not going to happen. lol
