Default Intro--MissAmyLynn from New York

[font="Palatino Linotype"] Hey everyone, my name is Amy and I am new to this site. I never knew about this until I searched for something to turn to for help. I hope this will help me, it is a very cool idea. It is nice to know I am not the only one going through this. My new husband was incarcerated about a month ago and he leaves any day now for prison. I thought I could deal with it but I am so depressed. I can't eat, can't sleep, can't get out of bed. I am making myself very ill and have lost interest and hope in life. I need help and for once in myself I have no idea at all what to do.

I know actually how you feel but I got 2 kids to keep me busy, plus school and work...find something to keep you busy and just pray for you and him. Remember God would not give you more than you cab handle

He is leaving the Sullivan County Jail by this Friday and going to Fishkill for reception. From there he is hopefully going to Shock like he wants to or up to a regular prison. The only thing I am worried about is if he is not physically capable for Shock, due to his fake knee. Also, in Shock I have heard it is not like a regular prison, you only get 1 five hour visit every two weeks and every other week one ten minute phone call. It is going to be so hard to rarely talk to him. Anyone know if any of these Shock rules are true and if his knee with definitely prevent him from Shock, because the Shock website says an inmate must run five miles a day in prison. With his bad knee I don't want him to get hurt or push himself too hard which I know he does cause he wants to get home to me as soon as possible especially since I am ill and need help.
