ladies i have a quick question.. do u need to be put on a list to attend a graduation ceremony even if ur already approved to see that inmate?

Yeah my cousin graduates on wednsday and my aunt and uncle were put on the list to go but his sisters wanna go now but they aren't sure. If they had to be on the list too. I mean they are approved to visit..

I know it's after the fact but yea they had to put you on the list. They were only allowed four guests. It was a really nice ceremony--I expected it to be something less than what it was. The guys got to be human in the eyes of the prison that day because they interacted with everyone freely. The COs weren't breathing down anyone's neck. There was such a positive and relaxed vibe in the air emanating from everyone. Our family Loved It!!!!

Yes--special invitation though. The visiting slips even said C Yard Graduation and they were green. They were only allowed four and it was very well done.

EVERYWEEKEND, my mom & I visit our babes on the same yard. Ha ha Same prison,same yard,same race <3 Keepin it 100 to the fullest & never slippin : )

I will admit I use to be one of those females that would look down upon the ladies that would put themselves in thise horrible situations. I had that stuck up outlook upon the whole idea of this situations but that all change very drastically when my man walked into my life. One I began to understand more & more why you guys would do it, I felt more & more ashamed of how I chose to look at the lifestyle before. It isnt easy, we all know that. There are many of you outthere that have been doing it for many many years & I respect that so much. Much love & respect to all the ladies around the glode that does her man right 24/7 no matter what bullshit gets thrown at youu.

I am not saying I like that I am in this situation but I am happy I get to expierence it because two reasons. It has shown me what these woman real go through just for their love & two because it brought me closer & closer to my otherhalff<3

My man has got the best of me & alls I want is to see him better himself when his release date comes. 3 weeks remaining & he will be home. I just dont want to see him return to the same scary lifestyle he had before. He has potential & he has a good head on his shoulders but my baby is very easily distracted so I just dont want the littlest thing to take his mind of whats right & take him back to his old ways. What do some of you recommend I say to him or do for him to keep him on the right path.

You can't.
Ask him what he intends to do to make sure he is avoiding the people,places and things that get him into trouble.
Perhaps getting a job,going to school,therapy,church,hwh,AA,NA,etc...???
He needs to have a plan in order or he will probably just drift right back in the same trouble again.
You can't do it for him.Sad but true.

Waking up in the morning & having the thought of its going to be an okay day but then all the sudden the phone rings & its that one you absolutly adoree<3 I love his phonecalls they make me so hopeful for all these crappy outcomes. I cant wait until my baby is home 23 MORE DAYS <3
