Personally, I found CSP visiting a breeze! The longest I have ever waited in the process room was a good 20 minutes. At other prisons I have waited an hour or more. I think the COs are fair at CSP in my opinion. The only problem I had was fitting under the 250+ miles and still having my visit cancelled. I visit once a month so I fit the 30 day rule as well. If you have to mapquest your address to CSP's physical address to prove you fit the criteria, do it! Other than that, CSP has been easy to deal with.

With the yards being flipped and inmates being transferred out, the mail can be a little slow. It's not as bad as San Quentin's mail, but it is a little on the slow side at times. Then again it might be, because my love and I write each other 15+ letters. Lol. CSP shouldn't be too bad.

Damn....How long does it take the guys to get their incoming mail? I sent him letters 2 weeks ago and as of the letter I just got that he wrote Sunday, he hasn't got anything...Does anyone know how long it takes for them to get their mail?

My husband got there last month and it took him 15 days to get the first mail, now he gets mail every couple days and a few at a time. We write each other every day.

Ya we write eachother everyday too and I been getting his mail but tomorrow will be 2 weeks he has been there and got none of mine yet....atleast as of Sunday he hadn't...so that is normal?
