Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Ok so I made a list of all my pen pals so I could be organized and also so I could have their birthdays and upcoming events in order and I HAVE 25 PENPALS that includes my husband and Brothers In Law but I still write 22 other people that arent Family...The thing that amazes me is tonight im on the hunt for a few more

Checked the mail just now.. Nothing. So I'm hoping that I just checked it a little to early and that the mailman haven't been here lol. If not then this is another week with no mail

The sun is shining here though, so I'm happy. Just waiting for all the snow to melt away

Haha Mandi, I recognize myself in you . I have a hard time saying no especially if the letter is real nice or if they mention how important mail is and that they are lonely, so when I started joining the swaps in december I had 2 regular penpals and 2 every now and then and now .....hm, I don't even want to count haha.

I dont know lol i just do Jpay helps a lot and I dont send hand writen letters due to weakness I guess it just happens I love knowing that I brighten someones day when they receive my mail to know they arent alone and that not everyone out here judges them for being in prison. When I joined PTO I had about 8 pen pals since joining Ive reconnected with old pen pals and found new ones on my own n through the card swaps I guess I feel like no one should be left out and that prison is just where these humans are not who they are

Hi guys! Just signed up yesterday. I've been writing D who's in HDSP in CA for about 4 months now. I was kind of expecting a letter this past week but nope :-( He's in the hole and from what I understand it takes a bit longer for him to get my letters, and for me to get his. But every time I get a letter it's like christmas! LOL. I live in Sweden by the way so that's part of the reason it takes FOR EVER to get mails. :-(

Hoping there is a letter when I get home from work on Monday!!

It may seem like a lot, and no disrespect intended, but thats why I never complain that a day has gone by without me getting mail maybe thats what i enjoy the most is getting mail everyday! There has only been 2 days since I started where I havent got mail

Im thinking of looking for 2 more pps that will put me at 35 so between Elijah 35 pen pals a husband who doesnt think he'll be hittin his designation anytime soon and chemo I will be busy n hopefully staying strong

Does your family and friends know that you have PP on the inside? How do they feel about it? The only person that knows about my PP is my fiancé . He doesn't care really but he doesn't understand it either. I guess he think I'm a bit crazy lol. ;-)

What's you're favorite sites to find PP's?

My husband knows I have pps he doesn't know how many now lol I found most of mine on

My cousin knows and a close friend of mine.
3 of my pps I found 2 on writeaprisoner.com and my 4th on inmate connection.

My 1st prison pen pal I knew years ago but lost touch yet found out he was in prison through a state website.

No mail today.....but at least I got a call from C and a letter same day this week.

Im hoping with 4 penpals as of next week I should get mail more often
