Just moments before the executioner was about to bring his sword down on the neck of the condemned man, the beheading was abruptly halted - froze upon hearing a man from the crowd shouting the pardon. The shouter was the victim’s father.
But this wasn´t enough for the father, he asked the court to release his sons murderer immediately from prison.

do with the Royal Family would put that kind of pressure on the families of all the victims of people subject to death.

Do think that it's odd that in Saudi Arabia, the voice of the victim's family can stop an execution, but in the US? if they are against the DP, their voice is ignored.
