No mail - disappointment

I even put it in the letters, that since this is the only way we can communicate at the moment, then he needs to step up his game and get to writing. I always go to my mail box all excited, hoping there will be a letter, and when I don't see one, It is so disappointing.
So I know what your all going through.

Unless you have put money on his books for him to purchase writing supplies,he may not be able to write.
He might have had to borrow the first time he wrote you and that is usually a bad idea in jail or prison,unless you are sure you can repay shortly and usually double.
Hope you hear from him soon.

God!! I thought I was alone in this "no mail" situation. Like you, we kind of had our differences, been actually for awhile now. I look forward to letters, right now our only means of communication. Used to get at least 3 or 4 letters in a week but since our tantrums have started, been only getting one a week. This week "nothing" ... cried last night because I'm afraid that I may not get anything at all and I was going to visit him tomorrow. Now I'm wondering if that's such a good idea. I tend to "assume" all the time .. not good I know .. but I'm starting to think that maybe he doesn't want to see me now!! This is all so hard!! But I Love my Baby so much!!!

I have to get on the ball and write J today because I found out some really good news, and I want to share it with him! I have been either sending J puzzles with a small note in with them or answering his letters. Yesterday and today I got nothing from him......makes me abit worried but I know where he is at they are taking forever to get him my mail......he told me this in his last letter on Wednesday that I got from him!

I know what you mean......I cried for like a week straight because I didn't get anything from J all week long, come to find out it was the mailroom taking forever! Go see him tomorrow, twll him what you said here. I bet you two will be on better terms if you go see him........even though he might not admit it......visiting him will make his weekend!

Yea.. I got 3 letters this week. ))) he told me he had slowed down writing because he doesn't have too much to talk about. Plus, his favorite uncle passed so he's really sad about that. Despite all of that , he still says he's gonna write more because he knows it makes me happy. I never even sent off my letter telling him how I felt about him not writing. I didn't even have to tell him. He can feel when something's wrong just like I can. I swear I love that guy and I wish I could comfort him right now while he's sad

OMG I was in the no mail boat for 2 wks til Monday!! OMG ive gotten 3 letters every day that are 3-4 pages long each.. I can't keep up Lmao I'm behind..he told me today you slacking!! Lol :-( I just got 3 more!! Expecting 2 more tomorrow sheesh..he said expect two more Monday

Just curious.. how do you have so much to talk about?? My boyfriend says he doesn't have anything to write about and honestly I'm running out of stuff too! Lol how do you guys keep the conversation going?

Honestly I talk about the weather, my daughter, things going on in my family, things going on in the news, tell him about dreams I have, just that type of things!

Just tell him you are here if he wants to talk about it......that is what I told J about a month ago when his grandpa he was close to passed away.

I didn't get a lettter for over a week and then yesterday, I got 5. I hate Fridays if I don't get a letter because I know that I won't get one until possibly Tuesday. It's just abother one of their little games they play there with the inmates and their mail. One time, the guard who gets the mail went on vacation and took the mailbox key with him! Another time, he took some time off and took the mailbox key home! Looks like after a while, someone would figure out to get another key!

Lol.. hmm talk about every day life..how it was a nice day wishing we could do this and that...talk about the kids... idk lol just stuff.. how my day was..just wants to know my every day in and out.. my man really keeps it flowing he's such a talker.. so he just writes writes writes..now that its been warmer he'll tell me how he hopes kids n I enjoying our day outside ect.. talk about our dreams we had.. what we look forward to I'm future.. write poems.. drawings.. always writing about his mom (especially when he's missing her and struggling with his emotions still after she passed 6 yrs ago) but its something he writes a lot about.. talk about sports.. idk but we've learned to keep it flowing no problems. I just normally do it at night lately and end up falling asleep.. lol I should of brought paper and pen with me cuz I been at the park for 2 hrs lol ugh :-/

To him he says if we get to a point we have nothing to say we have a problem.. it's not good... so eeekkkkk I do my best to stay on top of it lol

Haha mine don't care if he cheesy!! I love it we just got off the phone and told me he wrote more and writing more tonight and wkend I'm like shit u sound like a man in love Lmao :') he said I am is that bad??

Sometimes men don't realize how important the letters mean to their women or just aren't the type to write and or express.. just want to do their time & get out... he's always encouraging other inmates.. a lot of them seem to lean on him for advice

When my husband was in county I always wrote on pink paper and everything just flowed. I sent 4 and 5 page letters everyday even though we talked every day for most of that time. For awhile I used white paper and didnt seem to write as much. I went back to pink paper and the long letters came again. Jpay is great because they get it faster but when Im struggling like last night I sit with my pink notepad and I cant write fast enough to keep up with my thoughts. I have no idea why it works but there is something about the real letters. I feel so much better when I sit and write. Funny thing too when I took a breal from the pink paper and then went back to it he told me how much he missed the pink paper.

J likes it when I write on light blue legal pad paper.......he says it is much more cheery! The letters seem to flow better and longer when I write on the light blue legal paper.(I got it at Walmart for like $4 for 3 pads! )

No letter from J today, but that is ok. I am 9 pager to him as we speak. I am not done yet. Just telling him about the couple of good news that I have to share and playing 30 questions with him......those are fun because it helps the letters to be longer too!
