Default Free after 10 years on meth !!!

Thank the Lord, I am finally getting my life back together...I was a user of 10 years I caught a drug case in 2003 and it took me 4 years to get off probation. I have an 8 year old son who my mother practcally raised since I was in out of the house as pleased. 2 1/2 years ago I met my current boyfriend who was also a drug addict. We used meth together and commited alot of crimes in order to have money to get high. We are both college educated and left behind our careers because of the drug. In october of 2010 I got pregnant and tried to stop using , but it was very hard. Then I found out I was blessed with Twins ! I had to stop. They saved me!!! they are my lil angels.. A boy and a girl.. what else could I ask for ? I have been clean for over a year now and I coulnt be happier !!

I am happy that you are in recovery and hope that you have a good support system in place to help you succeed in staying clean. Having kids can be a great motivator and it appears yours have been your major influence in changing your life.

You did not mention if you b/f is clean? I certainly hope that he is as well. I wish you both the very best!

Peace~

That is great!
I am always so happy to hear of people that can make that change since it is SO hard and requires so much effort.
You should be really proud that you made the changes you needed to make to get your life back on track.
Stick with it and don't let anything de-rail your hard earned sucess.

Well , yes he is sober because he got arrested 2 months before I gave birth. But being that we are both sober ..and found god , our relationship is so beautiful right now~ I thank the lord every day for my beautiful family ..although we r not in the best situation , I belive that every thing happens for a reason.. and I have faith that we are going to make it . Thank you and god bless !

I noticed the words "was also a drug addict" which leads me to believe the twins have saved him as well. You truly have been blessed and couldn't ask for more.
