I had a question. How often do you and your love one talk on the phone? Me and mine talk every day but starting this coming week we won't be able to. I'm not working and I can't afford to keep up with the phone his books and other bills. It's hitting me hard because I only have him and my BEST-FRIEND and of course God but everything on top of other things are hitting me hard.

So far, we have talked four times a week. The phone bills are killing me! We write letters everyday too. But I love to hear his voice!

We talk 2-3 times a day at least. We always try and cut it down but its so hard to not talk often. He's the first person i want to call when im happy, sad, mad, etc and since i cant call him i love getting his calls!

We talk daily, sometimes twice. He will be going to prison in May and it will be difficult not talking as much.

We talk 4-5 times a day...way too much, but now that I got a local number to where he is, the calls are a lot cheaper. We need to cut back though because it's definitely adding up.

My husband and I only talk once a week, and we see each other on Saturdays. It's rough, but we're making it! If you have to cut down your bills, then you have to handle your business! Maybe you should write or visit more, if you can't talk as much! He'll understand~

Yeah I love hearing from him. But I am in Cali and he is in Florida. So they charge us 2.10 a call. And it has to be set up there correctional billing. He was telling me about Vonage. Does that work?

Once a day sum times, we've gone once weekly i hate that its so hard not talking to him listen to his voice.. Im in the same boat phone bill is staring to kill me I only work part time..

When he was at the Diagnostic center we would talk everyday at least 3 times a day. He just got transferred to the Correctional Center, and he is in reception, so he only gets to use the phone 3 times a week for only 10min each. We also write letters. It's really hard going from 3 times a day to just 3 times a week. I can't wait till he is out of reception.....

Me and my baby talk everyday for 10mins..I never want it to end I just love to hear his manly voice telling me I Love You Mija or Beautiful omg he gives me the chills' he always did..lol.^.^*..

We talk 2-3 times a day for like a half hour each time. Unfortunately when he gets transferred he will only have 300 minutes a month to use, its gonna be hard when that starts.

I used vonage & hated it, started using the new magic jack no computer needed seeing as how I dont have one & the area code keeps the cost down because its local

I haven't talked to my bd in 4 days due to being transferred across country but we try for at least 4 times a week. It's so expensive and I don't have much money and have kids.

I think I have it worst only speak to him evryother week on sun for 3 mins or so. The week that he doesn't call is the week that he gets visit

We're very lucky & get to talk everyday. Sometimes it's just once, but it's usually more. I talked to him 4 times yesterday!

We get no calls,ever.
If he is allowed a yearly call(maybe with the new proposed validation rules,after a few more years in shu violation free) then I will ask him to call his mother.We do get some brief window visits,so at least I can see him(if not touch him).

Unless things change,he will be in shu during any time he does.
This means four more years with mostly a letter ever once in a while.
Even those take about six weeks to get to him and then get a reply back

I'm going crazy it's been 5 days. Today is a day I need to hear from him. I want to cry.. he's currently in a holding facility waiting to be over to Camden county. Maybe that's why he hasn't called?

He's in county right now, so we talk everyday.
Once in reception, there will be no calls.
When transferred to state prison, I'm hoping for as much as possible. I rather not eat dinner, and pay for the calls instead. He's my everything.

I can relate to all you ladies. My Boo called today while I was at work. I didn't care if I got in trouble or not for answering it. I put it on speaker and was bent down by my table smiling and talking, I was very excited. He comes first to me. He makes me smile when ever I think of him, even between calls. I just know that when I don't hear from him, he's thinking of me. Just like you guy's men. Stay strong.
