Default So nervous about first pfv with MWI husband

Hi ladies, just wanting to sound off about how NERVOUS I am about mine and my husband's upcoming ..."prison honeymoon" lol! We have been married nearly a year and years since those first daily letters, and I gotta say, it has been a long time since either one of us has been in a private situation I feel like a forty year old virgin, and I am sure he is even moreso, as much as we are excited about it. Oh mannnn, I hope I don't throw up on him, lol! Anyone else on here been with an mwi for years and finally got a private visit after years of celibacy for both? Please tell me noone here threw up or fainted, lol!

In Illinois,, there is no such thimg as a "Private Visit",, I wish,, but I can most definitly understand your excitement and nervousness at the same time aws he is probably feeling the same thing too,, but go slow and I am SURE nature will kick into auto-pilot..

I think a "private visit" is so cool! Visits like that aren't about age, or doing or saying the right thing. It's all about spending quality time with the one you love. You will be fine! Keep us posted because we will waiting to share in the good time that you had!

Awwww....I think it is sweet that you're nervous. I'm sure things will be fine...in fact, better than fine; I'm betting it will be great! I wish m'love and I could have a "private visit"...but unfortunately, his facility does not allow those.

I think that is so sweet!
He is probably just as nervous.
I heard someone say that after years of waiting,it was like the first time and the "cookies" had been off the shelf so long that you might want to take alot of lube.
I'm sure that it will all just come together (pun intended)and it will be amazing.
Enjoy your alone time!

Thanks for all the positive feedback ladies! I have been tee-hee'ing since we got the news last week and booked the time for three weeks away ( the application process was LONG and SLOW!). loving-him, we are in Canada, where federal inmates who meet fairly strict criteria can get a 72 hour visit once every five or six weeks in one of three or four little houses on the prison grounds, so we have to show ourselves at the door for count about 4 times a day. So like the one poll on this site that asks if you would spend 24 hours in prison with him...I am goin to prison for 3 days!!! And also lol, I also think it's like riding a bike, but we are pretty giggly with each othter lateley...talk about yer buildup!!!

That's great, think California maybe the only state that allows family visits in the U.S. The 72 hour part is wonderful. Even with the counts I am sure it will be close to feeling normal. You will probably start joking about the counts like me and my boyfriend make fun of the automated woman on Texas's phone system. Please don't throw up on him, he will never let you live it down. Expect to hear that story in your 70's.

And do u sleep in the house and he comes all day or certain times and are y'all 2 the only one in that specific house?? Do you eat there food or can you bring your own ?? I'm soo curious sorry if I'm intruding ! I'm very happy for you !

Yes, my husband and I, after 2 years of marriage, had our very first Family visit in March. I was a bundle of nerves and emotions for sure. He had not been with anyone for almost 18 years, and it was 3 for me. He was way more nervous than me but it was a wonderful time we had together just doing normal everyday things that most people take for granted. It definitely took our love and friendship to another level. Im excited for you both!

MissVal, that is so sweet! And yeah, I think he is even more nervous than me...it is so sweet, I feel like one big scream! Four days left to wait...hard to think of anything else!!! Loving-him, yes it is just the two of us in a little house on the grounds...we have to present at the front door 4x per day at count, they phone first We have to order the food from them and the $ comes from his account...that was hard to figure out in all the excitement...um, how many packages of salt and pepper will we need in three days? Lol, I think we screwed up and forgot a few ingredients, but luckily figured we'd had lots of salad, which he hardly ever gets so...hard to screw that up, lol.

EXCITED!

woo hoo!! 4 days??? Im right behind you. LOL... wow your process sounds much like ours. We plan everything around that count time. LOL. you get to order food from them? I would love if we could do that. We have to bring EVERYTHING that will want to eat for those days. its a pain trying to plan "well, will want this or that" next thing you know Im bringing grocery to last a week. At least you can bring salt and pepper. We can't bring any spices. I guess someone tried to fashion some pepper spray or something before LOL. Well, Im excited for you. I know you are going to really take this love to new heights!

I am so excited for you! That is awesome that you guys are allowed to be together for 72 hours with only minute interruptions during the day. You will be absolutely fine. It will just come back to you like second nature and I am sure once everything falls into place (not literally lol) that you will relaxed and just able to enjoy! Have so much fun and fill us in on how it goes!! Good luck!!

Default Update

Hi Ladies, just wanted to thank you all for helping me settle down!!! and have a few laughs.

We had our prison honeymoon <3 this weekend, and it was perfect Funny to think that if I had the chance, I would move into that little house on the grounds ad stay there with hime for the rest of the sentence!!

LOL, turns out it was pretty easy to overcome that little bit of nervousness when it was done. The CO from V & C who delivered the groceries about an hour and a half into the visit is nice and was very helpful in helping our pfv application go through. Well, lol, when she phoned to say she'd be bringing the groceries up, we had to quickly grab some clothes, lol, we were wearing each other's clothes when she got there, and we really couldn't go through the list to make sure all the stuff was there. She was laughing at us and starting to chit chat when I was just so giggly I laughed and said "Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out!!" and gave her a big hug and kinda pushed her out the door. We were all laughing.

Anyways, a great time, less intrusive than I had thought it would be, and the staff preserved my dignity very nicely when going through with my little overnight bag. The cooking was great, even baked some bread and slathered real butter on it, a treat he hadn't had in so many years!!

Can't stop smiling and looking forward to it next month

Today I love the whole world! Boom-dee-adda!
