None of them hurt maybe because I have a high tolerance for pain but the buzzing sound almost drove me insane! It was sooo irritating!!!

As for numbing for a tattoo... I think that beats the whole purpose of the tattoo. In ancient times it was a rite of passage. It is something that stands for something, whether its a time period or person or a change, and its meant to be a reminder always. I like that it hurts. Its like, I want this etched in my mind forever. Every time I look at it I will remember whatever it may be. And I will also remember that it was worth pain so that I could see it forever. But then again every single one of my tattoos have a meaning and a purpose. I guess, to me, if a tattoo wouldnt hurt than it wouldnt have as much meaning.

I on.y have 2 , one on each wrist one isn't that close to my hand but the old goes right up to it , and let me tell you the closer to my veins and crease was the worst , my BFF just got her ribs done , and she has 10 tattoos now and that was the only one she ever screamed at .

I've got a butterfly on the left side of my chest, my husband's signature on the right, my youngest daughter's name on my right shoulder blade, and my two older daughter's names on the underside of each wrist. My wrist tattoos were definitely the worst. Especially Iliyana's because he pulled the "y" down right onto the crease of my wrist and it was right over a vein. It hurt so bad I passed out. But I do have epilepsy.

I got 8 total,working on 9...my eyebrows i want tatted!!!!! The hurtful one was my left foot,,,it hurted like i was giving birth out my foot!! The one on my lower back,felt like that to. I'm getting my ring finger tatted also.

I only have one tattoo but I want more. I have a butterfly on my lower back to like an inch from my tail bone and it didn't even hurt one bit. The only thing I complained about was a light burning sensation but that was it I took it like a champ!

My pelican hurt pretty bad! Took like 2 hours! I also have 3 on my other forearm and they hurt pretty bad too. They are hello kittys lol

Worst one was the flower scene outline I had done on my lower back. It was done by a friend of mine with legit equipment in his kitchen and I thought I was gonna pass out! It took 2 hrs ,Its the only one of my 5 that hurt.

The one that hurt the most (Out of five.) was this stupid skull Oklahoma that I got. I absolutely hate it, because it's not at all what I asked for. I wanted it to be in negative, with a red 918 (My area code.) in the left (Ride from viewing it.) socket. I was not given what I wanted at all, and the artist kept tattooing after I said I was extremely dizzy. Also, it does not look like Oklahoma! Of course, I didn't want the jaw bone. There also aren't enough teeth. I'm so mad about it. Why does the skull have eyebrows?!
