Diagnostics/Production Order questions

My fiance was sentenced to a year in prison (had probation revoked) and currently has a hold for another county (he's on probation there too). He's filed a production order to get the court process going in that county, but so far nothing's been done to get him a court date. Are there any time limits the county has to get the court date? If not, then what is the point of a production order?!

Next, since he's currently waiting in county jail for diagnostics to come and get him (he had probation revoked March 28th & was picked up February 3rd), how long does it usually take? I've read anywhere from 2 weeks - 3 months. Since he only has the year to go (for this county, currently), his parole eligiblity will be up the beginning of June.... possibly while he is still waiting to be taken up for diagnostics. I realize they don't necessarily care about our specific situation, but, are there no policies/laws in place to make sure they actually move forward with him in an efficient manner?!

And lastly (I think), for this other county we have to deal with, what do you think his chances are for getting the court process going while we're dealing with his current sentencing? Or will it just wait until he's either paroled out/finished with his sentence?


I know most of the women/men here have a lot more time left on their bid with their significant other, and my heart goes out to you.. I would really appreciate any kind of advice/answers because I am fairly new to this all and I'm struggling to figure out money & my budget until he is home (home in the home I don't quite have yet).... I'm a poor 19 year old across the country from her own home, so... yeah a lot of things are so dependent upon his time. :/
