Hi,
I got a call today from my bf and he said he had a meeting with a parole bored I guess. Anyway he was sentanced to 1 year in county jail but his release date on the lasd website is on 09/29/12. So basically 5 months .. he said that they are going to see if he is approved for it. That they will call me with in 5 days since we live together. Has anyone gone through this? How much does it cost? If he is approved, how soon will he be released? He is at Twin Towers in LA.

I don't know the answers but if he goes on house arrest, will he still be eligible for early release? I recall in the past that guys who stayed in county were released sooner than those with the ankle monitor. Just a thought.

Not sure. I keep reading conflicting reports on this monitoring. Some say he has to do the full 365 days and some say he will only do up until his projected release date which is September 2012. Either way I think he is better off out of jail, but we still have to see if he qualifies and I have yet to get a call and his interview was Monday and its Thursday now. Ughhh this is so frustrating.
