If it makes you feel any better, the other side is still being racked up a lot because they are short of staff. They are not officially on lockdown but there is limited movement.

My pen pal is on Connally unit. He is sending me as much letters as he can, but since I live in Serbia, it takes about 10 days to get his letters. We tried to find a way to phone each other, but since I dont have landline, I dont know is it posible for us to speak?

Unfortunately he wont be able to call you because your in another country. If I am not mistaken there are no calls allowed to international numbers. But letters are always a blessing and Im sure he enjoys receiving your mail. Do you know what building he is in at Connally?

Tomorrow marks 6 weeks of lockdown on hubby's side. I'm grateful for the letters but my heart aches for him knowing that he still eating his 2 Johnny sacks and nothing else. Dear lord let this be over soon and praying he is able to call home soon. This is by far the longest we have had to deal with a lockdown

I'm sorry that he's still on lockdown, it really sucks. A couple of years ago, they went on lockdown in July and it lasted 43-44days and it was awful, in the 14 years he's been down there that was by far the longest. Hopefully they will come up tomorrow and all will be well. Letters are great but the phone calls are so much better. Hang in there.
