Shannon Johnson DE RIP

The execution was carried out after the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, within a span of nine hours, twice overturned decisions by U.S. Chief District Judge Gregory Sleet in Wilmington halting the execution in response to arguments by federal public defenders that Johnson was mentally incompetent.

The article is here. What a rollar coaster. My thoughts are with all those touched by this.
