Question How do you ladies feel about prison tats?

My hubby got two this morning. My name on his neck and two hand pieces. What are your opinions on them getting done in prison? I'm kinda on the fence about it.

I love me some tattoos in general....I have ten tattoos myself....but I don't want him getting any while he is inside b/c that would mean a write-up for him, plus I'm leary of him getting an infection....so for now he is waiting until he gets out to get anymore just my two cents lol

I love tattoos but it irritates me that he risks diseases and getting in trouble. But ultimately its his body and his sentence so what can I do? I guess its one battle I choose not to fight

I am completely against it!!! So is my love thank god!!!! It's to much of a chance for dirty "needles". To high of a risk getting diseases no matter how "clean" they say they are.

This is a huge NO with me. Hepititus c is very common in prison and is mainly spread thru prison tats. My uncle is doing an 18 year bid for 1st degree murder and when he first went in in 2000 he got tarred from head to toe and now he's suffering a slow death from hep c. Prison tats are not safe at all and my bf knows how I feel about them.

I'm anti because I don't like them normally but In there I heard how they make then and do it. Not great and the cases of hep c are high. Besides my guy doesn't like them either. : )

My man has a bunch, but he got them before I met him. I am also on the fence. As long as he is 110% sure everything is clean, and I trust that he does I am ok with it. And for the other point is it makes him look even more dam sexier!!!!

Well, personally I would not get tattoos for religious reasons and would rather my bf not get them either. But if he is I would also rather him wait to get them out here because of health risks even though.....he has his ex-girlfriend's name on his wrist that I would love covered up as soon as possible but of couse have accepted him with it

I've already told my boyfriend that I don't approve of jail tats. I told him we can go all out with tattoos when he's done bc I don't want him catching anything he can't get rid of. He doesn't need to bring anything home from that place.

My Babe has about 9 that he got when he was in before I met him. I LOVE them, but I have asked him not to get anymore this time around. I don't want him to get sick, and I don't want him to bring anything home to me!! I told him to remember how good it feels to not have to wear protection (!) and if he wants that still, then no needles while he's gone!!!

No, I am against and he knows that. I want and need him to stay out of trouble.....get caught with a tat means trouble, too............plus I am afraid he could catch something. He wanted to get my name on his chest, but I told him to promise me not to do it until he is out or he's gonna meet my evil twin

I wouldn't say I'm against it. It happens quite often.! My man has more than a few & I like them on him. I do hate the risk of disease & all that but it's his body & he will do with it what he wants. I can't tell him not to & expect him to listen, he is not a child. (:

Between Hep C, AIDS and the punishment of going to the hole, I expect that would be enough to persuade the thinking person to leave the tats for later. Other than that, you may think they're sexy now, but I'm 63 and the men of a similar age look bizarre . . . things have sagged and they've gained or lost weight and whatever that blob was supposed to represent is long gone.
